Elephant Point is located 18 km from Skukuza and 8 km from the Paul Kruger Gate of the Kruger National Park.

Take the R536 from Hazyview. If travelling from White River, turn right at Blue Hazy Mall. Continue for approximately 32 kilometres. Elephant Point will be on your right-hand side.

At the main entrance gate, the security guards will check your details against the arrivals list, issue you a security tag with your River Suite or Safari Villa number and date of departure. The guard will direct you to the River Suites reception.

Follow through the gate 1, drive slowly to the gate, and the gate will automatically open. Pass through the gate and at the next junction turn right and follow the road to the RIVER SUITES signpost, turn left and pass through the security gates – follow the road to the central facility – please check in at the reception. If you are staying at one of our River Suites, please let the concierge unpack your car and transfer your luggage to the golf cart. Our valet will park your vehicle at the designated car park.

Should you be staying at one of our Safari Villas, please also check in at the River Suites reception. After check-in, you can enjoy the facilities of the main building or proceed to your villa - leave through the River Suites Gate, then turn left for Villas 1 to 25 and turn right towards the main gate until you reach the direction sign pointing to the right to Villas 28 to 60. The reserve map could assist with directions if needed.

Villa owners will receive their welcome envelopes upon arrival at the security gate and are no longer required to report to Reception before accessing their villas.

A staff member will greet you upon arrival at your villa or shortly thereafter. Please verify the inventory against the inventory list provided in your lodge.

Safari Villa guests booked on an accommodation-only basis will be required to make all Spa and Food & Beverage reservations through ONE TOUCH Services. Reservation requests are on an availability basis only. We kindly ask for your understanding that walk-ins can only be accepted on a space available basis.

The Gym at our River Suites is only available for Safari Villa guests booked on a Full Board basis.

ONE TOUCH Services will also facilitate private dining requests at villas. Please note that all private dining experiences must be booked at least 48 hours in advance.

Perched above SAN, TILO is an elevated cocktail lounge inspired by air, rhythm, and atmosphere, a refined space where the experience continues in a relaxed yet sophisticated setting.

Where SAN is grounded in flame and earth, TILO offers smoke, craft, and lightness. This is the ideal space for sundowners, signature cocktails, and evenings beneath the African sky.

Presently, the Boma and River Deck are closed until further notice while we upgrade the facilities. We are expecting the boma area to reopen by end July, and welcome guests to make use of this area for more casual bistro style dining. Until reopening, all Safari Villa owners and guests are welcome to enjoy their meals at SAN African Restaurant, or privately prepared by our chefs in their own villa.

Children under the age of 12 are warmly welcomed at a 50% discount on any selected private dining menu option. A dedicated children's menu is also available, thoughtfully designed with our youngest guests in mind.

Regrettably, this facility is not available to Safari Villa guests on an accommodation-only basis.

Please note that the River Suites pool is reserved exclusively for River Suites guests. Unfortunately, Safari Villa owners and guests are not able to access the pool, regardless of their booking arrangements.

For your convenience, an initial supply of 3 bags of wood, 1 bag of charcoal, and 1 box of firelighters has been provided at your lodge. These items are charged only upon usage.

Should you require additional supplies, please place your order with Reception between 08h00 and 15h00 for collection at the main gate:

Firewood: R75.00 per bag

Charcoal: R95.00 per bag

Firelighters: R45.00 per box

Kindly be informed that a service charge of 10% will be added to all consumables.

Villa Services:

Housekeeping and Maintenance teams service the Villas daily. Please inform us if you do not require these services during your stay.

Complimentary coffee pods are provided upon your arrival only and additional pods can be purchased from the housekeeping department. Please note that Villa’s 12, 33 and Villa 35 use ground coffee only.

​For your safety and peace of mind, the property is patrolled by security 24/7.

Elephant Point is situated in a region renowned for its natural diversity and concentration of big game and is undoubtedly one of the best game-viewing areas in the Kruger National Park. The reserve takes its name from the elephants that can frequently be seen drinking and grazing on the banks of the mighty Sabie River.

However, elephants are not the only magnificent creatures you will encounter. Herds of buffalo, prides of lions, leopards, and numerous antelope species make their home in the surrounding area. Elephant Point borders the Kruger National Park and is also a neighbor to the world-famous and exclusive Sabi Sand Game Reserve, home to MalaMala, Sabi Sabi, Londolozi, Singita, Ulusaba, and others.

As we are located in this magnificent wildlife area, please take caution when leaving the Safari Villa. To prevent local monkeys and baboons from entering the villas, we kindly request that you keep all windows and doors closed when not in use.

Self-guided walking trails through one of our very own trails.

We have 3 easy to walk trails

1. Nyarhi (1.5 km) trail
2. Saringwa (2.1 km) trail
3. Three Rivers (2 km) trail

The best time for these walks is early morning or late afternoon. Guests and their visitors enter and use these trails at their own risk.

A flat fee of R600 covers all shuttle trips between the villa and the hotel for the entire day — whether you need one transfer or several. For once a day charge of R600,-- you travel back and forth as many times as you need, for up to six persons.
