• MAXIM LOUNGE: Maximillien Lounge, affectionately known as Maxim, Sandton's most elite and exclusive whiskey, wine and cigar lounge offering an atmosphere of sophistication and elegance for those looking for a stylish venue to visit regularly. Hours: Monday to Saturday 11h00 to 23h00.
• MAXIMILLIEN RESTAURANT: Renowned for our succulent Mediterranean meat and delicious seafood dishes, the Maximillien is now known for our sushi too! Maximillien is open seven days a week and is ideal for a hearty breakfast, a quick business lunch and a leisurely dinner, or available to hire out in it’s entirety. The Deck area, completely encased in glass from floor to ceiling, has a breathtaking view of the sun as it slowly sets between the Sandton Sun and Intercontinental hotels. Hours; Monday to Saturday 06h30 to 23h30.

In case of an emergency please contact security by dialing 4444, or reception on 9 from your suite phone. In the unlikely event of an emergency necessitating the evacuation of the premises, we recommend for your own safety, the following procedures to be adhered to;

1. Memorise the location of emergency exits closest to your suite. You will find a location map behind the door
2. Do not endanger yourself by collecting personal effects
3. Never use the elevators
4. If you are trapped in your suite, use wet towels to mask against smoke entering through the bottom of the door
5. Call security on 4444 or reception on 9 and give your name and suite number
6. DO NOT PANIC. Proceed to your nearest exit and vacate the building through the firescape
7. Do not attempt to re-enter the building

The Raphael Penthouse Suites can be viewed by arrangement with reception. In order to make reservations please dial 4363 or 4464 from your suite phone.

Accounts are payable in cash or credit cards. We regret that personal and company cheques cannot be accepted. Account queries can be addressed with the Front Office Manager via reception by dialling 4465 from your suite phone.

Please contact Reception for airport transfers or limousine services by dialling 6002/6003 from your suite phone.

The following are available on request from housekeeping: shaving kits, dental kits and shower gel, shampoo, conditioner and body lotion. Other requirements such as cots, extra beds, extra blankets are also catered for. Dial 6002 for assistance.

Banking services are available at Nelson Mandela Square mall. Banking hours are 09h00-15h30 on Monday-Friday and 09h00-11h30 on Saturday. Automatic Teller Machines are available inside the mall 24 hours a day.

For assistance with renting a vehicle please contact the Concierge by dialing 4466. Guests who have not previously driven in South Africa are advised to use our Chauffeur-driven Limousine Service.

The Sandton City shopping complex has 15 cinemas on Level 2, which are open every day. For further assistance or information please contact reception (Dial 4466).

All suites are air conditioned. A thermostat control is located in the lounge to facilitate your personal requirements. Please keep the windows closed when the air conditioner is in use.

Clicks Pharmacy, shop No. 79, Ground level, located in Sandton City, will assist you with all your requirements (Dial 011 883 7520), Monday to Sunday, as well as public holidays O9h00 - 18h00.

Electrical adaptors are available on loan from the Front Desk, for which there will be a deposit levied. Please note the electrical current in South Africa is 220 volts. Please do not use the razor socket in the bathroom for other electrical appliances.

A hairdryer is located in the dressing table situated in the bedroom of your suite

A same-day laundry and dry cleaning service is available six days a week, excluding Sundays and Public Holidays. You will find a laundry and dry cleaning list in the compendium inside your cupboard. To ensure same day delivery, laundry must be collected by no later than 09h00 (Dial 4466/4442)

We recommend that you use your suite’s electronic safe for safekeeping of your money, jewellery and other valuables. We regret that The Raphael Penthouse Suites is not liable for any loss of valuables due to whatsoever cause.

Please ensure all valuables are locked away in your personal safe and that windows and doors are locked when you leave the apartment.
