WHITE WINES
Chardonnay
A white grape with green coloured skin with its origins in Burgundy a world-famous region of France, it is regarded as the World’s best-known grape for high quality white wines. This varietal is produced in two styles, oaked and unoaked. This wine has a lemon aroma with some peaches, tangerines with some nutty nuances. Wooded Chardonnays pair well with creamy dishes while unwooded Chardonnays pair well with most white meat dishes.

Sauvignon Blanc
Is a white grape with a light green skin colour with its origins in Bordeaux, a region of France. This is the varietal solely responsible for some of the worlds most popular and most distinctly dry white wines. Its most recognisable characteristic is its aroma-grassy, herbaceous, gooseberries and asparagus. Ideal with all greens and seafood.

A white grape with high acidity structure and bold tropical fruit aromas, this wine has its origins in the Loire Valley of France. South Africa produces this varietal in abundance due to our huge brandy production, recently we have started producing some of the best examples of this varietal in still wine and internationally Chenin is regarded as South African best white wine. Pairs with greens and light white meat dishes.
Pear, green apple and cashew provide an array of aromatic characters. Ripe fruit is tempered by finely balance acidity to give a mouth filling yet refreshing palate with a lingering finish.

Rose and Blanc de Noir
A red grape is used to produce this style of wine, the short skin contact with the juice during the production process leaves a wine with a pink complexion. Pairs well with white meat dishes and some light red meat dishes, depending on varietals used, it may pair with some curried dishes if the wine is in the off dry style.
Crisp and dry, this Rosé is made in a classic Provençal style. An appealing pink-blush colour with sumptuous sweet red berries, cherries and tinged with discreet spice. A succulent palate leads to a soft, dry, and crisp finish.

RED WINES
Cabernet Sauvignon
This red grape varietal is the most recognised of all the red varietal, its origins are from the most famous of all wine regions of France Bordeaux. This wine is regarded as a full-bodied wine with big bold tannins and dark fruity aromas. Pairs well with most red meat dishes and rich bold stews.

The wine has a rich ruby colour with a dense core of red cherry, mulberry and blackcurrant flavours. There is also a hint of ripe plum and cocoa on the nose, which is backed by dark chocolate notes.
While juicy and drinkable, it is textured with lovely ripeness. The core is firm with typical Cabernet Sauvignon backbone. It is poised and integrated with a long, pleasant finish.
Pinot Noir
This red grape has its origins in the Burgundy region of France. It is widely known as the elegant, graceful varietal which is light to medium bodied with red berries aroma and palate is light in style. This wine pairs well with poultry, pork and lamb.
Delicate red fruit such as cherries and strawberries, hint of truffles and mild oak spice. Medium bodies.

Pinotage
This is a red grape that has its origin in South Africa. A scientist called Abraham Pernold crossed the seeds of Cinsault with Pinot Noir and result is what we today call Pinotage. This is a full-bodied red wine with bold tannins and some red berry tones together with chocolate and coffee aromas. This wine pairs well with most red meat, lamb and rich spicy stews.
Classic Pinotage aromas of spicy mulberries, plum pudding and cherries, supported by smoky bacon nuances. Juicy and accessible with a soft palate and delicious fruit concentration.

Merlot
This red wine varietal is world famous for its velvety smooth character with its origins in Bordeaux region of France. This wine is mostly fruity and smooth with soft tannins and upfront tones of red fruit. This wine pairs well with red meats and white meat dishes such as pork or tuna.

Ripe plum colour with ruby rim. The nose shows ripe fruit flavours, spice and touch of chocolate. The ripeness of the fruit is balanced by fresh fruit acid and soft wood/fruit tannins. The aftertaste is long and lasting.
Shiraz
This red grape is called “Syrah”. It has its origins from another world, the famous French region called the Rhode Valley. Widely regarded as spicy grape due to its pepper notes, this bold full bodied red varietal also has tones of dark fruit. It pairs well with spicy red dishes.
A deep ruby colour with a dense core, this structured wine has an attractive spectrum of flavours, from the first rich impressions of black cherries and ripe plums brushed by alluring floral notes, to integrated spicy clove and pepper nuances. Supporting oak spice on the finish enhances the primary fruit intensity.
Complex and well-rounded with an elegant tannin structure that culminates in a lingering aftertaste.
Deep black fruit with riper vintage fruit expression with pepper spice. Richness and juiciness with round integrated fruit core and silky ripe tannins. Shows elegant freshness and length with a lingering fruit on the finish.
With a vibrant plum colour and attractive notes of blueberries and spice, hints of vanilla pods intertwined with well grafted tannins that sculptures the palate. Long dry finish with a repetition of succulent black berries and cherries.

Red Blends
A red wine produced with two or more red or white varietals that are produced to represent the best of the terroir of our wine producing regions of the Western Cape. These wines are fine examples of our best fruit aromas, the best our spicy traditions. These wines pair well with red and white meats depending on grape varietals blended.
Powerful berry fruit with cigar box and dark chocolate followed by vanilla and oak spices, elegant but powerful with ripe tannins.
An original composition of rich dark berry Cabernet Sauvignon architecture, polished by plush cherry plum Merlot slickness for delicious drinking.
It is a wine with an excellent sin centration of fruit, with prominent mulberry and plum flavours, as well as ripe black fruit such as blueberry and blackcurrant integrated with oak spice tobacco and cedar oak giving you a cigar box finish. The tannins are well integrated, fresh and chalky, with a rich, smooth mouth-feel and persistent spicy finish.
The palate is soft and spicy with a velvety texture and powdery fine tannins. It is simultaneously rich, rounded and refined, softly appealing and structured from sympathetic oaking which is harmoniously integrated.
Inviting cranberry and raspberry aromas with an earthy mineral focus and a lingering cinnamon and walnut finish.
