ACTIVITIES

The walking safari has a minimum of 2 participants and a maximum of 4, though with prior arrangements and availability of walking guides, a second guide can accommodate up to 8 people.

Participants must be between 16 and 60 years of age in accordance with park regulations.

During winter (April to July), the group meets at 06:30 and departs at 06:45. In summer (August to March), the meeting time is 05:15 with a departure at 05:30. The walk typically lasts between 3 to 5 hours, depending on the physical fitness of the guests.

Each guest is provided with a walking pack containing water, fruit, a cap, a chocolate bar, and 2 sandwiches (chicken mayo or cheese), with options available based on dietary needs.

Guests are required to wear dull clothing, comfortable shoes, a hat, and sunblock, and they are responsible for carrying any necessary medication.

Bookings must be made through the wildlife department, and the activity is weather-dependent, with the possibility of cancellation due to rain the night before. For bookings, please contact extension 4226.
